The latest introduction to our trailer fleet is the SteelRunner, an exploration into the world of polished stainless steel and modern architectural design.
Available to view now at Mobile Technik, this particular SteelRunner is a fine example of vintage styling joining forces with 21st Century efficiency and practicality. Having landed last week at the Showman’s Show 2012 for it’s UK debut the SteelRunner was a big hit with experienced industry professionals and new business owners alike.
“We’re currently working our hardest at matching the current fascination with classic American-style catering trailers and we believe the SteelRunner is an ideal product for meeting this demand. The highest quality surface finish has been applied to the stainless steel shell to ensure that the SteelRunner has a maximum visibility and reach that really shines and stands out at any event”
Ideal for fast service and maximum output the SteelRunner is perfect for mobile food service and experiential campaigns at any location and the combination of state of the art sound and vibrant illumination means you’ll definitely be seen as well as heard!

Trailer and brand environment specialist Mobile Technik has launched the MT Byte, a brand new mini-trailer available for events and experiential agencies looking to create guerilla sampling experiences, or compact catering.
Simon Pauffley, Managing Director of Mobile Technik explains;
“With the growth of street food as well as brands looking to create stunts which deliver their product directly into the hands of the target consumer, this trailer is a very exciting development. You can hook it on the back of a car and be serving from the inbuilt equipment in minutes.“
Brand experience agencies and event caterers will be able to find incredibly creative applications for the trailer, from impromptu BBQs at bijou events, through to providing samples right on the doorstep of multiple locations in one day.
This unique system, which can be towed behind a car the size of a Fiat 500 or Mini can quickly tranform into a catering dispense unit with a self contained hand wash unit and interchangable equipment such as a hob, grill, bain marie, microwave to suit the application. The trailer is small enough to get close to the entrance of a venue, or right in the heart of the action for an event. The front of the trailer features chilled storage for samples and ingredients.
Mobile Technik will have a selection of the MT Byte available for rent, as well as building them to suit experiential campaigns with full branding and customised equipment to suit.
Greetings from planet Mobile Technik – hopefully all of you have received our emails following up on enquiries taken at what we have viewed as a highly productive show…if we haven’t yet, don’t worry we’ll get round to it soon enough and you’ll all be receiving an e-shot from us as a more personal thank you!
An opportunity for us to show those of you who didn’t make it to the show what we laid on…thanks to Isuzu and Chris Neal of Hawkeye for providing us with a new Isuzu D-Max and a wonderful selection of hawks and falcons which we believe added a real dynamic to our stand that seemed absent elsewhere
Hopefully you all got a chance to take a look at our new SteelRunner – if not, check out the gallery below and the one on www.mobiletechnik.co.uk/steelrunnerblog

Byron Hamburgers are a burger chain currently inspiring the taste buds of Londoners and they want to spread the word of their tasty food to the festival goers of the UK. With this in mind they have asked us to build them a bespoke unit to capture the feel of the restaurants, to get them on the road serving festival fayre this summer.
Our brief is to capture the raw vitality of the chain and deliver it in a great looking unit incorporating the cows that feature in the Byron Hamburger restaurants. These cows must be the feature of the stand so now we are looking into ways to make these cows part of the road show – just a normal day in the MT office!
