Inspiration from EuroShop
The Mobile Technik team headed over to Germany for the week to join our partners Promocube on their exhibition stand. It was a feast for the eyes with innovative retail ideas stretching over countless halls. Our intrepid team took on the challenge and here’s a few of our highlights from the show, which returns in 2020! Get it in the diary!
Promocube had two formations on display at Euroshop and the stand was popular with designers, event businesses and marketing agencies alike talking about pop-up retail pods for festivals, shopping centres and experiential activations. Visitors came from all over the world for the exhibition including Asia, the US and South America from all kinds of large and small brands.Check out this great little video of the Promocube team showing all the different formations it can achieve from just one truck.
3D visualisation business Scan Blue were demonstrating some great 360° applications from retail displays to website graphics and augmented reality apps. The stand really reflected how the production of high quality 3D visuals really works cross platform and is worth the investment for flagship products and ranges if you’re going to create an engaging digital experience at an event and then continue it online in your follow up. Check out some of their 3D visuals here and let your imagination run wild.
A really simple but innovative modular display system caught our eye! Easyblox provides retailers or events with a modular display system which you can build into plinths to display products or use to create multi height displays. Then when you want to change it up you can design and build something else simply to create seasonal promotions or special features.
You would expect architects to have a nice stand but Dart really stood out to us for their great use of spaces, the incorporation of some simple interactive elements and the inclusion of giant pencils. The huge mirrored stand had a journey which took you past an LED screen with great simple black and white content, a set of letters which you could use to create your own phrases and words and great architectural lines throughout the stand which added interest and intrigue about what was around the corner. Promotional space design at its best.
